Fiber Optic Installation and Maintenance Operating Procedures
I. Personnel Qualifications and Basic Fiber Optic Operation Procedures
1. Fiber optic installation and maintenance must be performed by rigorously trained technicians. Avoid stretching, squeezing, or twisting the fiber. The bending radius of the fiber should be greater than 40mm.
2. During installation, be sure to avoid subjecting the fiber to heavy pressure, excessively tight clamps, or damage from sharp objects.
3. When holding the fiber optic ST connector, do not swing it.
II. Fiber Optic Laying Path Requirements
1. During fiber optic laying, twisting, knotting, or reverse clamping is prohibited.
2. When the fiber optic cable passes through sharp angles, a flexible bending sleeve or other guiding device must be used.
3. When the fiber optic cable passes through the outer casing, it must pass through a plastic sheath with a protective opening or a flared flexible tube.
III. Excess Fiber Optic Cable Storage and Fixing
1. Any excess fiber optic cable must be coiled (radius greater than 10cm) and reliably secured.
IV. Connector Protection
1. When the fiber optic connector is not connected, both ends must be covered with protective caps to prevent dust accumulation.
V. Transmitter Disassembly Sequence
1. When disassembling the transmitter, the optical fiber must be removed first, and the optical fiber connector must be reliably secured before disassembling the transmitter.
