1. Basic Condition Check
Verify equipment integrity through visual examination. Confirm porcelain bushings are clean and undamaged; check for oil leaks on tanks and radiators; ensure nameplates and markings are legible. Validate oil level matches temperature standards with clear, impurity-free oil. Inspect accessories: desiccant silica gel should be blue, oil cups properly filled, pressure valves intact, and tap changers correctly positioned.
2. Electrical Safety Verification
Perform systematic insulation testing using appropriate megohmmeter voltage. Execute measurements in sequence: high/medium/low voltage to ground, then inter-winding tests. Confirm grounding resistance meets specified limits through annual verification.
3. Oil System & Maintenance
Ensure unrestricted oil circulation by confirming all throttles remain fully open. Maintain oil quality consistency by using identical brand/products for replenishment. Monitor desiccant condition, replacing when significantly discolored while preventing air ingress during maintenance. Preserve grounding system integrity through regular inspection and corrosion prevention.
